Can it be set so that the search field can search partial words, or words within a word?
For example I have a subscription to Pocket. Well, in 1PW, because of their URL it's saved as "Get Pocket" but yet when I type just Pocket I don't get my login as a result. I have to type Get.

Partial search just from the beginning is pretty much useless. The problem is/was known for ten months and was just fixes a couple of days ago in the desktop nightly builds. I can't believe you released the iOS version without a working search.
By the way is it really expected behaviour that I can't search using an iPad if the sidebar is closed/collapsed? The search should always be visible like it was in previous versions.

Yes - currently it'll search for partial words, but only from the beginning. We do have plans to continually improve our search in the future.
