3 years agoHi @walterrockenstein, the fastest way to open and Fill a website using your Login items in 1Password is the Quick Access feature. You can access this by clicking on the menu bar icon and selecting Quick Access, or by using the keyboard shortcut Shift+Command+Space. From there you can quickly search and find any item to open it in your web browser.
In the main app, we changed double-clicking on an item from opening the items' website to opening the item's details in a new window for a few reasons. One was that this was the expected behavior from a lot of people based on other apps behaviors. The Mail app for example does the same thing, as well as Contacts and many others. So a number of folks were finding the other behavior confusing. The other reason is related to that confusion, because it made it inconsistent across different types of items. When someone double-clicks on a Login item, it would have one behavior, but double-clicking on another item, would do nothing.
We did add a keyboard shortcut that you can use in the main app to perform the previous behavior you got with a double-click. Shift+Command+F in the main app window will perform the "Open and Fill" command which opens the website for the currently selected Login item in your web browser and fills it in once loaded.
I hope that helps! And we are keeping track of feedback like this to see if we should make any changes around behaviors like this in the future 🙂
