2FA - QR code via copy and paste not possible

In version 7, it still worked to simply copy the QR code for a 2FA as a graphic and then paste it into 1Password. Now (in version 8) it no longer works or 1Password no longer inserts anything if you have copied a QR code to the clipboard and want to paste it.
Using code in "writing" works. However, there are still websites that only provide the QR code.

OS Version: Windows 10 21H2
