I'm sorry that the installer for 1Password 8 isn't moving forward. You may be running into a known issue involving standalone vaults during the upgrade to 1Password 8. To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
- Quit the 1Password 8 installer.
- Open and unlock 1Password 7.
- Confirm that you can see your items.
- Leave 1Password 7's main window open.
- Run the 1Password 8 installer again while 1Password 7 is open.
If you run into the same error message again after following these steps, can you tell me the following:
- Do you see all of your items when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)?
- Do you see an older standalone vault named โPrimaryโ when you open and unlock 1Password 7?
