Accidentally deleted a passkey
Hello all, I sent this to 1pw support (ticket ID 550110) but I thought of also posting this here. I accidentally deleted my passkey for my Google account (I know dumb move !!) I'm still logged in m...
Dave, Sorry for the delay. I had 2FA enabled along with advanced protection. When the passkey was deleted it locked me out of everything but I was able to remain logged in, but that was it. I wasn't getting a passkey popup from 1PW as normal. After a few days Google came back with a message that showed they disabled 2FA, once that happened I was able to recover everything with the link in the message. I recreated a new passkey, 2FA and advanced protection and now all is good. Passkey is back and I have full access to my account. Lesson learned !!
