Add 1Password extension for Opera & Sidekick browsers
I wish to add my voice to the many requesting native browser extensions for Opera & Sidekick.
I've added Opera & Sidekick as trusted browsers using 1Password Support's process described here.

Hello folks,
I'm happy to share that you can now add Opera as an additional browser to 1Password for Windows. Follow these steps:
- Install 1Password in Opera from the Chrome Web Store: 1Password – Password Manager
- Add Opera as an additional browser to 1Password: Connect additional browsers to the 1Password app
A couple of notes:- Make sure that Opera is installed system-wide with admin permissions in the C:\Program Files folder.
- Opera is not an officially supported browser and you might run into unexpected issues.

Why is this still not implemented in Windows? I do not like my password manager dictating what chromium based browser I can use!

Thank you for the feedback! Our team hopes to implement the additional browsers feature in 1Password for Windows in the future, it's currently available for the Mac and Linux: Connect additional browsers to the 1Password app
I've let the team know that you're eager to see the feature be introduced to Windows.

Hello 1P_Dave,
any updates/roadmap on this? It is a really terrible experience to not have the extension connected to 1Password App. Editing opens the website, which takes forever to load. It is ok if needed once in a while, but very painful for power users.
Greetings, Kasjan

Thanks for the ping! We're currently testing the additional browsers feature in the nightly build of the 1Password for Windows app. Once testing is complete the feature will be made available to the beta version and then the production version.
Just a heads-up: the nightly channel is considered experimental and it isn’t tested as rigorously as the beta or production channels. If you’d rather steer clear of unexpected bugs or quirks, it might be best to wait until this feature reaches the more stable channels.
