Adding Credit card with camera
Background: Adding a credit card takes time, you need to fill in many detail and it is time consuming.
Solution: Using the phone camera in iOS or Android to add a new Credit card. This would work by the camera scanning the numbers, security number and expire date and adding it to relevant field.
Comment: This has been requested as old as 2017 goes so just curious why this has not made it to the app.

The lack of this made me quite sad. I've just started a 1Password trial and was going to use it to add the payment details ... I guess I won't be purchasing a subscription this time around.

Welcome to the community! You can save credit card details in 1Password using the steps in this guide: Save and fill credit cards and addresses
You can also manually create a credit card item and type in your credit card information. I've let the team know that you'd also like to see a feature for scanning credit cards using your device's camera be added in the future.

We need this feature!!
This is not just a nice to have feature it is the only way a blind user can input a card without assistance from a sighted person. Witch requires giving someone access to confidential information

Thank you for the feedback! I would certainly find such a feature useful as well and, while I can't make any promises, I've let the product team know that you'd like to see a scanner with optical character recognition added to 1Password for iOS to make saving credit cards easier. š
