3 years agoAfter upgrading to version 8 Touch ID is not working anymore on Mac Studio.
After installing the new version 8 my Touch ID stopped working. I did set the opton in the preferences. Am I forgetting something?

That's interesting. I'll add it to my bag of tricks. Sorry one more question. Is this something you have seen before with 1Password or other apps? Thanks again.

I had to reconnect my keyboard with a cable for Touch ID to appear. Thanks for the help.

For clarification, do you have Unlocking your Mac enabled in System Preferences > Touch ID? It should be enabled. I figure it is but its always best to ask. Try disabling the option and then enable it. Then check 1Password.
Yet one other suggestion I have seen is to turn the keyboard off and then turn it back on. This was not related to 1Password but I found it in passing on an Apple community board.
A restart may also help matters.

This is what I can choose Touch ID and Apple Watch. Both not working.

I just got a Mac Studio and I don't even see the option to enable Touch ID. I only have Apple Watch as an option. Was working fine with my MacBook Air and the same Magic Keyboard on 1Password 7.
