Amazon.ca orders page pops Save Passkey etc.

Using 1Password for Windows 8.10.74 (81074019) and refrusted with 1Password and Amazon.ca order page. If I click on an item I ordered, Brave Browser goes to the item listing. Fine. But if I click on ...

Hello Fedup​! 👋

I'm sorry that you're seeing an unexpected prompt on Amazon.ca. 1Password will show a prompt asking if you want to save a passkey if a website transmits a very specific "webauthn" request message to your browser. 

If you're still seeing the same issue then can you try the following: 

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings. 
  3. Click Autofill & save.
  4. Turn off "Offer to save and sign in with passkeys". 


Then, try to reproduce the issue again. Do you still see the prompt from 1Password?

That appears to have fixed the issue. It is strange that I was only seeing this popup when in orders and clicking on the Amazon links for the items in any order than coming back to my orders page.
