App integration broken with chrome on linux

After the update to 1Password for Linux 8.5.0-83 or to chrome M98, the extension is unable to integrate with the app. It is able to start the app into the system tray, but ends up asking for password...

Thanks for letting us know, and we'd be happy to take a further look at what could be going on here.

Follow the steps here to save a console log of 1Password in your browser: Save a console log for 1Password in your browser

I'd then also like you to create a diagnostics report from 1Password:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password.
  2. Press Ctrl + Comma, then click Advanced.
  3. Click Send Diagnostics.
  4. Click Reveal.

Send both the diagnostics report and the console log as attachments in an email to support+forum@1password.com.

In the email, also include:
