Apple Watch Option Not Available on iMac

The option for unlocking 1Password isn't available on my iMac. I also have a MacBook Pro and it is available there (and I love it!). I noticed that the MacBook is running 1Password 7 whereas the iMac...

Hi @billtb:

Not every Mac computer capable of using an Apple Watch to unlock the Mac itself supports using Apple Watch to unlock 1Password. Unlocking 1Password with your Apple Watch requires a Mac with a Secure Enclave:

  • iMac Pro (2017 and newer)
  • iMac (27-inch 2020 and newer)
  • MacBook Pro with Touch Bar (2016 and newer)
  • MacBook Pro (2018 and newer)
  • MacBook Air (2018 and newer)
  • Mac mini (2018 and newer)
  • Mac Pro (2019 and newer)
  • Mac Studio
