auto submit html guidance

Our site has multiple submit buttons on the login form. 1password is clicking the one we don't want it to click. I am pretty sure this is valid html and ideally we should be able to provide some hints for 1password.

I checked the design guide but didn't see anything related.

Maybe we could get data-1p-ignore to ignore the extra button?

To prevent 1Password from clicking the wrong button, try adding the data-1p-ignore attribute to the extra submit button. You could also use unique id or name attributes for each button to help 1Password differentiate them. Check autofill settings for further adjustments.

  • Hello dustinsmith1024! 👋

I'm sorry that 1Password is choosing the wrong button when submitting a login. Are you able to share a link to the login page in question? I can file an issue with our development team to get this fixed.

I look forward to hearing from you.
