I saw an article saying that the Microsoft Edge browser stores passwords in plaintext in RAM
PC MAG article(Link)
According to the article linked above, passwords saved in the Microsoft Edge browser are stored in plaintext in RAM while the session is active. I am currently using the 1Password browser extension as the password manager in Edge, and I’m wondering how the content of the article affects this setup. Even though 1Password is an Edge browser extension, does it operate in a different way?
