Autofill without unlocking vault.
I would like to request a feature that would allow you to autofill without having to unlock the vault.
That way you could have your vault secure at all the time, but still get the convenience of autofilling without entering the password and unlocking the entire vault.
Right now you have to choose between maximum security and maximum convenience. It would be nice if there was a middle ground.

If I understand this correctly, this is effectively the same as the request in Super secure items, but with the balance at the other end of the scale, i.e. keeping every other item in the Vault inaccessible while allowing access to just one item, insofar as there is tiered access to items. This case would be much more difficult in that it would need each item to be separately encrypted.
Alternatively, a single item could be cached, making it available for the autofill while the Vault is immediately locked. While easy to say, anything involving caches is inherently difficult - more so when it's critical to fail closed, i.e. with no secrets left exposed.
A more practical approach would be to have a very short timeout on the unlock process: long enough to autofill enough to complete a process such as a login or checkout, but not so short that repeated unlocking is needed to finish such a process.
