Automatic updater - focus stealing
The automatic updater for the Mac app stole keyboard focus from the app I was using at the time, breaking the flow of my work. I don't want to choose between staying secure (via automatic updates), and having my work undisturbed. Please consider changing the UX of the auto-update so that it does not interrupt the user's task.

harczuk I'm sorry to hear that you're running into issues with updates. If you'd like to disable automatic installation of updates and you're running the website version of 1Password 7 for Mac then follow these steps:
- Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
- Click on 1Password 7 next to the in the menu bar.
- Click on Preferences.
- Click on Updates
- Uncheck "Automatically install updates".
You can also always read our release notes on our website: 1Password for Mac Release Notes
Let me know if that helps. :)

No only that, but what if I don't want to update? I canceled 6 times and it keeps on coming back. There aren't any other apps that handle updates this way. I'm not able to read the release notes. The dialog box takes focus and I get a beach ball on the release notes dialog box. How do I read the notes before an update.
