Autosubmit Feature Request: Also automatically tick "Remember me" / "Keep me logged in"
I do like the new autosubmit feature, but it is very annoying when it logs you in and you realise you didn't first tick the login form's "Remember me" checkbox, meaning you'll be logged out next time you visit that site.
With the "Remember me" / "Keep me logged in" checkboxes usually appearing after the username/password fields, you wouldn't typically remember to tick the box first, which is what you end up having to do with autosubmit. Also the 1Password username dropdown usually obscures the checkboxes, so you have to remember to dismiss it, tick the checkbox, then click back in the username field to make the 1Password dropdown appear again. This is a worse experience than not having auto-submit.
Perhaps you could add the ability for 1Password to automatically tick any "Remember me" or "Keep me logged in" checkboxes that it detects? Making auto submit truly useful.

Could someone on the Dev team post an update on this feature to save and auto-fill(check) the "remember me" checkbox?
My 1Password browser extensions were previously saving and auto-checking the "remember me" or "keep me logged in" boxes but that seems to have been removed, it no longer does that and won't save it no matter what I do (I'm on the most current version as of today, 8.11.6). When I view those logins in either a browser extension or the desktop app, that field is no longer part of the record.
This is a vital need for me and nothing I've tried ("updating" logins after checking that field, deleting and recreating/saving logins with it checked, trying to manually add it as a text field)....- 1P_Dave

Welcome to the community! You can have 1Password remember to check the "Remember Me" box by saving a new login item using these steps:
- Navigate to the website's login page.
- Type in your username and password manually but don't submit them yet.
- Check the "Remember Me" box.
- Right-click on the page and select 1Password - Password Manager > Save > Login.
- Save a new login item, don't update the old one.
Then try to fill the new login item. The Remember Me box should be automatically checked as well. If that doesn't work then can you share the name of a website where this doesn't work?-Dave

Hi Dave,
Thank you for the very quick reply......unfortunately it does not work.
One website I need to stay logged into all the time is MailChimp, where I spend a significant chunk of every workday.
I deleted my MailChimp login entirely, even removing it from the 30-day sandbox for deleted items, and started over. At the login screen I manually filled in my username and password and checked the "keep me logged in" box, then logged in and saved the (now) "new" item.
Then I logged out, and when I attempted to log back in, the "keep me logged in" box is not checked.
I updated my version of 1Password on my Mac to the latest along with all my browsers and extensions, but no joy......it simply won't remember an auto-fill "check" for that field. :-(

Another way to solve this might be to apply automatic form filling to checkboxes. I notice that 1Password can fills in form fields when if you tell it the name of the field and the value you want in it (when logging in with 1Password). but this does not seem to apply to checkbox values. It could be done by scanning the form for a checkbox with the indicated value and selecting it.

Would be nice if there was a adjustable pause between input submissions. This would allow the user to manually check/uncheck or do another task during pause before 1password auto submits

Thank you for the feedback, I've shared it with the team.
If you prefer, you can turn off the autosubmit feature by following these steps:
- Open your browser.
- Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings.
- Click Autofill & save.
- Turn off Sign in automatically after autofill.

I would like to see this option too! I have years of 1Password muscle memory built up, and I'm constantly forgetting to tick the "remember me" boxes now that 1Password autosubmits every login form

Hello jcwacky! 👋
Thank you for the feedback! There are some people who wouldn't want the "Remember me" box checked on certain websites but I can definitely see how adding an option would be useful. While I can't make any promises, I've filed a feature request on your behalf with our product team who will consider adding such an option to 1Password in the future.
For the time being, I recommend checking the "Remember me" option before filling your login credentials (as you mentioned doing).
You can also temporarily turn off autosubmit before filling your login on that website by clicking on the 1Password icon in the browser's toolbar, clicking the three dots in the upper right corner of an item's details, and clicking "Don't sign in automatically". Then you can fill your login and check the "Remember me" box before signing in.
