AutoType on Windows. Can I only type the password?

For example, the account is already provided, and there is only one input box for the password. AutoType will fill the account into the input box, causing the failure.

The behaviour that you're seeing is due to a limitation of the Auto-Type function. Unlike Universal Autofill on macOS, Auto-Type is not able to detect specific fields to fill them accordingly. Rather the way it functions is that when Auto-Type is triggered, the app will type the username into the currently selected field, press Tab to move cursor focus to the next field, then type the password, then press Enter if submitting automatically is enabled in your 1Password for Windows app settings. You can learn more about this in our article on how to Use Auto-Type in apps and browsers on your Windows PC

As mentioned in the above article, if the default username field in an item in 1Password remains empty, then Auto-Type will only fill the password. An alternative solution would be to create a duplicate of the item with only a password and no username to be used specifically for Auto-Type. I recommend adding a label to the item's title to help distinguish it from the one that contains the username when searching via Quick Access. You can also link them as related items so that you can remember to change the password in one item if you do so for the other: Link related items in 1Password

That being said, I can definitely see how having the option to exclude a field when filling with Auto-Type would be helpful and have filed a feature request with our Product team. I can't make any promises regarding this, but the feedback will be reviewed by the team and taken into consideration moving forward.
