Being asked for account password after using Touch ID

I'm having the same issue as OP. In my case, even after I scan my finger 1Password asks me for my password. Have tried everything - resetting Touch ID fingerprints, uninstalling and deleting files + reinstalling, etc

Hello kirshara987! 👋
I'm sorry that Touch ID isn't working to unlock 1Password on your Mac. It sounds like you might be running into an issue that our developers are investigating. So that I can confirm this, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:
Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to
support+forum@1password.com
.With your email please include:
- A link to this thread: https://1password.community/discussion/147439/being-asked-for-account-password-after-using-touch-id
- Your forum username:
kirshara987
- Please do not post your diagnostic report to the forum. This is for your privacy and security.
Please send the entire file.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here. Thanks very much!

1P_Dave Hi Dave, I ended up emailing support and got some help. It is indeed the same issue you mentioned. I'm now running an older version of 1Password which doesn't have this issue whilst I wait for a fix.
