4 years agoBeta #16 of 2022 is now available 🥂🍾
Hello, everyone! Happy Thursday, and happy new beta!
We've been busy for the last few months getting getting the https://blog.1password.com/1password-8-for-mac/ to stable quality, but even with that focus we are still moving forward with new features and bug fixes! This week is no different than any other, and we have a new release jam-packed with updates. For instance!
- Context menu options and keyboard shortcuts now dynamically adjust based on the currently selected item or by what’s being shown in the app.
- The app now displays dates in the format you’ve chosen in your operating system’s settings.
You can find a full set of changes in our release notes for https://releases.1password.com/mac/beta/, https://releases.1password.com/windows/beta/, and https://releases.1password.com/linux/beta/. Or, select the What’s New item from the feedback menu within the app.
As always, thank you so much for participating in the early access release and helping us to improve 1Password. We couldn't have gotten this far without you and the releases are so much better as a direct result of you. Thank you! 🙏🏻🤗

Hi OAW,
Thanks for letting us know.
The
8.8.0-119 or 80800119
update today was released prematurely, we've pulled it as it is still undergoing QA. Right now, the 8.8.0-104 should be the latest beta and no one should see the -119 update. We sometime publish the release notes after the update ships, so I presume when you said the last two betas, you are referring to when you got the 8.8.0-104 beta and it did not show up but you see it now, right?

Not sure if you guys realize it but for the last two betas the "What's New" link shows release notes that appear to be for the previous beta. For instance, today June 1 beta 80800119 was released but the release notes are for May 25 beta 80800104.

You could use collections to put important vaults together.
https://support.1password.com/collections/And in 1Password extension, you could specify vaults that are used for autofilling / suggestions.

Next question: In version 8 is there any way to prevent a vault from being included in auto-suggest? I have several vaults of passwords for various things, and I do not want them to show up as suggestions, but I don't want them as suggestions. ie kids logins to websites I also use.

The latest build is looking good. it would be nice to have an option to scan for adding new devices in settings.. currently wasn't able to find it and this created a little friction in setting up a new device.. had to scan from the iOS App to get things going.

roustem I'm noticing this as a huge difference between 7 and 8. 7 did the right thing, and 8 shows way too many results. This applies to work related domains, but also sites like Amazon. When logging into the AWS control panel at https://us-east-1.signin.aws.amazon.com I am presented those options, but also options for my personal consumer account which has http://www.amazon.com as the website.
As far as I know, the work domains have not changed though.
