I'm sorry that you're experiencing trouble filling on the Maine Maritime Museum website. Can you clarify which page you're visiting when attempting to sign in to your Maine Maritime Museum account after registering? Are you not able to select your suggested Login item and sign in successfully when you visit the Blackbaud hosting page for the Maine Maritime Museum and click "Sign in" at the top of the page?
That website requires a complicated PW and it DOES require special characters, but it does not allow certain special characters (such as . or _ for example).
Was it giving you an error message after submitting the form when the password included . or _? If so, did the message specify that these special characters were a problem?
