That definitely isn't the experience we want you to have when using 1Password. I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac, as well as a console log:

Save a console log for 1Password in your browser

Attach the diagnostics report and the console log to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.
