I'm sorry that you're seeing an unexpected Touch ID prompt for 1Password when you start your Mac. While we do have an open issue for the 1Password app icon appearing in the Dock at startup, I'm not able to reproduce the Touch ID prompt also appearing. Even when "Show the main window" is selected for the menu bar icon.
Can you check to make sure that you don't have 1Password added to your login items? 1Password launches at startup using another method and adding the app to your login items can cause issues:
- Click on the in the menu bar.
- Click System Settings.
- Click General.
- Click Login Items.
- Make sure that 1Password isn't listed under "Open at Login". If it is listed then remove it.
- If you have any browsers listed here then remove them as well since they can trigger the 1Password browser extension to unlock when they launch.
Then restart your Mac but make sure that "Reopen windows when logging back in" is turned off.
Do you still see the same issue? I look forward to hearing from you.
