can 1password store vault on local drive

Can the password vault be stored on the macbook hard drive or a usb drive instead of the 1password servers?

    Thank you for the question! When you use the 1Password for Mac app, your vault is cached locally in the following location:

    ~/Library/Group Containers/2BUA8C4S2C.com.1password/Library/Application Support/1Password/Data

    Your data is end-to-end encrypted using secrets that only you know and also backed up to 1Password.com.
