Can I use my existing account on my new Mac computer?

I installed 1 password on my MacBook Pro and I just bought a MacBook Air. Can use the same account on my new computer and if so, how? I'm a new 1 Password user. I don't know much about "vaults"....

Hello @debuser52! 👋

If you already have a 1Password account then you can use it on all of your devices including your new Macbook Air. You can download and install the latest version of 1Password from the 1Password website:

https://1password.com/downloads/mac/

Then you can add your account to 1Password on your Macbook Air by following these instructions:

  1. In your browser, sign in to your account on 1Password.com.
  2. Click your name in the top right and choose Get the Apps.
  3. Click "Add your account directly" and allow your browser to open 1Password. You'll see your account details in the app.
  4. Enter your 1Password account password and click Sign In.
