Cannot select and copy the value of Secure Note in the app

In the 1Password app, when I select a Secure Note the value of the note is not selectable, so I cannot copy the value to paste into a field in the browser. I thought that used to work, but I may...

Hello Dave47! 👋

I'm sorry that you're unable to select and copy a Secure Note from the 1Password app. Do you happen to have markdown turned off? There's a known issue where notes can't be selected when markdown is turned off, are you able to select the notes if markdown is turned on?

  1. Open and unlock 1Password for Linux.
  2. Click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and click Settings.
  3. Click General.
  4. Turn on "Format Secure Notes using Markdown".

Our developers are currently testing a fix in the beta version of the app. If you have markdown turned on and still see the same issue then let me know.
