Changing password in 1pw8 complicated and unintuitive

This is scary I needed to change a password and ended up manually creating one because I wasn't able to do so automatically 1) Not all options for creating a pw are available as in 1pw7. I needed...

Hi tommy:

Were you creating this new password in the main 1Password app, or 1Password in the browser? You can open an item in a new window by choosing the 3 dots on the item and choosing "Open in new window".

It's definitely possibly to revert back to 1Password 7 if you'd like though. Remove 1Password 8 from your Applications folder, then unzip 1Password 7.
