Chrome - Problems connecting
Since today when I open chrome I am asked for the master password even though the 1password app is already unlocked (it also says "Chrome has an update available. Restart Chrome to install the update and reconnect with 1password").
In the browser settings under the switch "Integrate with 1password app" (which is activated) it says:"Problems connecting. Please ensure the 1password app is unlocked".
In the app the flag "connect with 1password in the browser" is activated.
What can I check?
Thanks
Windows 11
Browser extension version: 2.11.0
1password version: 1Password for Windows 8.10.8 (81008002)

I'm not, thank you for following up steph_giles! I don't know what I did, but after a few days it just started working. All browser profiles are now connected to the desktop app properly.

Link from the 1Password's server is https://downloads.1password.com/win/1PasswordSetup-8.10.7.exe (official link - digitally signed version).

Hello,
I am not from the 1P team but facing the same problem.
Support told me new update will come "soon" to fix this (it seems not everybody is concerned).Meanwhile, you can rollback to the previous stable (Production) version: 8.10.7
Having kept the 1Password installer version 8.10.7, I have shared it and you can access it through this https://1drv.ms/u/s!AtTzqrZ0Xugg5RUBwU7A1AmONCpa?e=53a1ky.Note: The file being digitally signed (by Agilebits), you can verify it's authenticity.
Procedure to rollback:
1- uninstall the current version
2- install using the 8.10.7 installer provided
3- go to Settings > Advanced then Uncheck the box for the automatic updates - Former Member
Hi @guicosta, sorry to hear that you're running into trouble with 1Password in the browser. To better understand what is happening, I'd like to ask a few questions:
- What browser are you using and what version of that browser are you running?
- What version of the 1Password extension is installed?
- What steps are you taking to use 1Password in the browser and what specific unexpected behavior do you see?
- Do you use the 1Password desktop app? If so, what version is it?
We'll be able to assist once we get the details above. We hope to hear from you again.

Hi! In my case, the problem was the nightly version. Reinstalling the stable version solved my problem
