Constant new popups about filling with 1Password just after we did so.

I'm both really confused and really annoyed by the plethora of popups that have been added to the production.

  1. I go to a site, click their Login button
  2. I hit CMD-\ to fill the login from 1Password and login
  3. I then get TWO popups from 1Password
    * This login is already saved in 1Password -- no kidding! I just used it!
    * Next time I could use 1Password to login -- I did!

These are neither informative nor useful. Please turn them off.

  • Hello jorhett! 👋

    I'm sorry that you're seeing an unexpected prompt after filling a login. This is a known issue that can occur when you use the 1Password for Mac desktop app's Universal Autofill feature  (Command-Backslash) when 1Password for Safari (the browser extension) is also installed. Our development team is currently investigating and I've added your report to the internal work item open with the team.

    For the time being, until the issue is resolved, I recommend the following workaround:

    1. Open your browser.
    2. Right-click the 1Password icon in the toolbar, then choose "Settings".
    3. In the "Notifications" section, turn off "Allow 1Password to show unlock notifications".

    Hopefully this is fixed soon.
