Constant prompt in Safari Extension causing bigger problems
The Extension forSafari has become so intrusive that I am turning it off. Any site with a hint of a user name or some sort of other information appears to trigger a want to update or create a new record in 1Password. This is happening even when you fill in a user name and password that you got from 1Password and there are no changes. It is even happening on my stock brokerage site where there are NO prompts for a user name or password!
What makes this worse is that the prompts are obstructing other pop-ups from the site you are on, and cannot be removed until you close the pop-up from the site you are on. In some cases the Extension prompt covers the button from the site and you can't close the site pop-up, meaning you can't do anything other than kill the browser tab for the site.
All of this is happening in Safari for MacOS, iOS, and iPadOS.

Have a look at my How do I get rid of these annoying popups? I posted yesterday (see below).
I outline a procedure for adjusting 1Password Extention settings I found after I scrounged around on Google for while, and seems to work. But, strangely, not always.
I've always admired 1Password (for well over ten years), but I can't understand why it takes such a complicated procedure to simply change this popup command.
If you decide to do what I did I would appreciate any feedback on how it works for you.
