Converting individual to family - way too hard. Help! Please?

Signed up on Mac. Selected family trial. It has set up the subscription through the App Store. But if you do it this way it seems incredibly hard to change to a family plan. 

No amount of searching via Billing or in the App Store on the iPhone now it’s added gives an option to change Individual (which as never asked for in the first place) to family. 

How do you do it??? Chat bot is useless.

    Change your 1Password account type

    tl;dr 

    You'll need to switch to direct billing. If you're ok with that cancel the current In-app subscription and then email us. We'll make a few changes and then get back to you.
