Create new software license entry by dragging-and-dropping
This is a delightful feature that 1Password used to offer before version 8.
I noticed a few forum posts on this topic already, but they haven't been updated in a couple of years, so I wanted to check on the status of this.

Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: 15.2

I could have sworn this used to be a feature at one point... Did it get dropped with 8?

Older versions of 1Password included this as a feature, I've shared your request that this feature be developed for the modern version of 1Password with our product team. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for the feedback! The feature request to have 1Password create a new Software License item by dragging and dropping the app into 1Password is still open in the backlog and I don't have any updates to share. I've let the team know that you'd like to see this functionality be added to 1Password 8 in the future. 🙂

I forgot to add an important note: I'm not just posting this for nostalgia — the old way used to be much much quicker and lately I noticed how I tend to avoid doing it because of the added friction.
