I ran into the same problem. The staff comment in 2016 apologized for the bug fix not making it into version 6.0.2. We are at version 8.10.13 and this is an app for which we are paying annual subscription fee. Now you are offering a "temporary workaround". What does temporary stand for in your company terminology? Good customer service works differently.
