Date format incorrect in 1Password for Android

Like Karmuk, I just noticed this today, taking a date down as 4/12/xxxx as 4 December, which got rejected why I tried to use it in the application I had to enter it into. This is the latest Android app. Also noticed my dob is wrong too. If you edit the date, it shows the correct date, but the display shows it in us format.

This is pretty poor behaviour from what is supposed to be one of the best password managers around. It's such basic behaviour. Luckily I was allowed a second valuation attempt with that date, otherwise I would have been locked out.

I can't believe that this thread is a year old and it's not been addressed.

  • Hello AntonyB! 👋

I'm sorry that you're seeing incorrectly formatted dates in the 1Password for Android app. I've split your post into a new thread since the other one was discussing the desktop app. Can you share the following so that I can look into this further:

    1. A screenshot of your language and regions settings from Android itself (this is what 1Password uses to set the date format).
    2. A screenshot of the date format that you see in 1Password (you can use a fake date).
    3. What you expect the date format to be.

To take a screenshot in 1Password for Android, first follow these steps:

    1. Open and unlock 1Password for Android.
    2. Tap the icon for your account or collection at the top left and choose Settings.
    3. Tap Advanced.
    4. Tap Show debugging tools > Allow screenshots.

I look forward to hearing from you.
