Description field for location
The location displays the latitude and longitude. It would be helpful to have a text description associated with the location. This could be an address or some other user-specified description for the location. Doesn't need to be long field. This would be especially useful to quickly distinguish multiple locations for a single login - when that feature is implemented in a future release.

That's a great suggestion and one we discussed during development of Nearby Items. For the initial release we kept things "simple" by only supporting one location per item. We'd love to add support for multiple locations per item (I'd use it myself). Once multiple locations are supported, customizing the location labels becomes far more important.
I can't promise when support for multiple locations might become available, but I'm hopefully we can get it prioritized.

Thank for mentioning this. I had not noticed the location name could not be changed. I'll get this before the products team for consideration in a future release.
