Howdy, y'all!
Today we released beta 8.9.7-7. It brings an assortment of improvements and fixes.
The SSH authentication prompt will now automatically close if the SSH request times out. We've improved the error messages when there is an issue in commit signing.
You can find a full set of changes in our release notes for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Or, select the What’s New item from the feedback menu within the app.

Unfortunately, the duplicate Hello prompts are not fixed. They're made doubly annoying by the random "Something went wrong" attempts.
Just updated now and it is still asking for my PIN code twice.

Latest Windows beta app is asking for Windows Hello PIN twice on startup, why is that?
We believe that issue has been fixed. Does it still occur on 8.9.7-17 (released today)?
