Destroyed item is still accessible via a share

Thanks for your response.

For me my main concern is that once an item is shared there is no way to update the expiration information other than manually deleting the link. That however is not possible once an item is destroyed.

I would have expected that at least on deleting of the item that any links would also be deleted as from a user perspective this is not possible anymore. At the very least I would expect a prompt to inform the user that there are active shares of the item prior to deletion.

On a secondary note, if I understand correctly to update an item that is shared a new link must be created?
