Document Reveal Delete After...

I have an issue with documents and the reveal feature.  I get there's some native o/s stuff going on with the download/reveal.  But seems to me leaving otherwise secret downloads on local storage entirely defeats the purpose.  I think at a minimum, I get the challenge, but delete the download/reveal on local storage after N minutes would make me a helluva lot more comfortable.

I awoke this morning with a similar concern. If there is a document stored in 1Password and I want to look at it, it gets downloaded into my downloads folder. I then use an appropriate app to view the document. I get that 1P doesn't want to include a suite apps to view a variety of document formats (PEF, JPG, DOC, etc.). But, once the document is in my downloads folder, it is open to anyone with access to my computer. After viewing the document, I can delete it. I may forget to delete it. Deleting the document would just move it to my recycling folder, where it could remain for a long time. There is some opportunity for user error and some degree of hassle to the user in destroying the downloaded copy.

It would be better if 1P included some utility to permanently delete or scramble/encrypt the downloaded file after it has been viewed or after a certain period of time. This would be sort of like self-destruction of the initial briefing in Mission Impossible. At a minimum 1P could provide, whenever a document is downloaded, a reminder and instructions on how to destroy the downloaded, unencrypted copy of the document after the document has been downloaded.
