Duplicate logins are being created

Thank you for reaching out! Recent versions of 1Password 8 include a duplicate finder through Watchtower, try these steps:

1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
2. Click on Watchtower in the sidebar.
3. Click on Show Items under Items with duplicates.

The duplicates remover tool will only look for items that are exactly the same and that are located in the same vault.

It sounds like the items that you have aren't exact duplicates so they won't be detected by the tool. Can you tell me a little more about the different Login items that you have for different website addresses? 1Password will only fill your login into a page that matches the website address saved for that login, did you copy and paste your username and password into other website addresses and then create a new Login item for that page?
