Edge Browser extension installation problem

I am trying to install 1Password onto a new computer and cannot install the Edge browser extension. I am trying to install from here:
https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/1password-%E2%80%93-password-mana/dppgmdbiimibapkepcbdbmkaabgiofem

I am getting this error message:

An error has occurred
The add-on could not be verified as the add-on manifest file is invalid.

How to do I fix this?

1Password Version: 8.10.0
Extension Version: 2.7.0
OS Version: Windows 11
Browser:_ Edge

    I'm sorry to hear that you're running into an issue with installing the 1Password extension for Edge. Can you confirm that your Edge browser fully up-to-date? You can check by opening Edge and entering edge://settings/help in your address bar.
