3 years agoEdge for Android Autofill Suggestions
Hi there! I saw a couple older closed threads on this and just wanted to make sure it's still accurate.
I'm looking at maybe switching from Chrome to Edge on both Android and Windows.
On Windows this seem fine.
On Android, on the top of Gboard, instead of getting suggestions for autofill accounts, I only get an Open 1Password option.
This mostly works fine, but is obviously slightly less convenient.
Is this still a limitation sure to Edge autofill support?

Thanks for confirming that @DrSuSE. I'm glad to hear the reset helped!
My apologies for the trouble with your post. I've shared this with the team so we can check if that's expected behavior or a bug.

That worked. I thought I tried it last night, but I wasn't overly focused on a settings issue possibility since it worked in Chrome. But... after the toggle it also works in Edge.
Unrelated side note for web folks at 1P... I typed my reply and posted, the site reminded me I wasn't logged in. After logging in the post contents were lost.

Hi @DrSuSE, thanks for writing in!
We've seen some reports of similar behavior with the recent update to 8.10.1 though it hasn't been specific to Edge. I'd like to ask you to reset Autofill suggestions then check for a change in behavior:
1. Open and unlock 1Password for Android.
2. Tap the account or collection icon.
3. Tap Settings > Autofill.
4. Tap Show filling suggestions off.
5. Tap Show filling suggestions on.Let us know how that goes!
