extension for safari 16.1 breaks

extension for safari 16.1 fails to show username and password in the extension app, and fails to show the 1P icon in username / password form fields. reinstalling extension or restarting safari allows the extension to work once or twice, but stops working within minutes of reinstall or restart. I even tried locking and unlocking the extension, but it's now stuck on Locked

    I'm sorry for the trouble you are having with 1Password in the browser. I think it would be useful if we could take a closer look at some logs and what may be going wrong.
