Feature Request - More granular control over autofill behaviours

I'm specifically referring to the Chrome-based browser plugin, but I imagine this applies to Firefox as well.  Not talking about mobile etc..

I would love it if I was able to disable the "Use suggested password" feature altogether.  Quite often on sites this contextual pop-up appears and covers up other UI elements.

The only way I'm aware of to disable this feature is to set "Settings > Autofill & Save > Show autofill suggestions when a form field is in focus" to off/disabled.  However this also disables the useful click-on-form-field-to-get-vault-entry-recommendations, forcing you to click on the little 1P icon to the far right, etc...

Relevant to the discussion might be "how" I use 1Password:

Whenever I go to a new site or what not, I will manually open 1Password (desktop app), make a new item/entry, and fill things out manually.  This includes tweaking the generated password (for added security), adding the website/URL manually, and so on.  I really don't like things like this being done automatically for me (in case you are going to ask "why don't you just let the browser extension take care of this for you?"), because I've been bit too many times in the past with password managers overwriting or doing buggy things with write operations/"saved entries".  I would rather do it manually.

So, for example, in the browser plugin under Autofill & Save, I have everything disabled/off except for "Offer to save and fill logins and other items", and "Sign in automatically after autofill".

Note: te first one I'd have disabled except I clearly have to leave it enabled to get functionality.  It's the "Offer to save" stuff I generally don't like and wish I could control that independently/separately.  I wish I could disable offer-to-save things on a granular level; I'd love to allow offer-to-save-passkeys but disable all the other things.

P.S. I am still waiting for ticket NLH-94836-813 to be resolved.  I submit that back in April.  That confirmed bug should not take 6 months to get fixed, guys.  Give it to an intern or new-hire; it should be a simple case of someone forgetting an unlink/delete call somewhere.

Thank you for the feedback! While I can't make any promises, I've filed a feature request with our product team to have them consider adding an option to turn off the "Use Suggested Password" menu on a webpage. For the time being, you can press esc on your keyboard to dismiss the suggestion if you don't need it.

I recommend that you follow-up with our team via email for an update on any support tickets that you might have opened since I'm unable to provide updates about support tickets here in the public coummunity. You can ask for an update by replying to the last email that you received from the team for that ticket. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, and I forgot: I also have "Show autofill suggestions when a form field is in focus" enabled because of, well, what I described above.  :-)
