Feature Request: Add an A-Z search index in 1Password for Mac, as in iOS

I searched and found this feature request had been made in January 2016 by Username Jim_Brammer. He puts it well so I copy his feature request here:

"1Password for for iOS provides a very useful alphabetic search index. e.g., when I open my long list of 492 logins on my iPhone (yes, I actually have that many ;-)), I can click on the letter "G" at the right of the list to quickly see all my logins that start with "G". It would be very useful to have this same alphabetic index feature in the user interface for 1Password for Mac. Yes - I know you have a favorites function, but I don't always need to access only my favorites . . . Please forgive me if this feature is already there - I've searched the various preferences and dropdown menus but could not find it."

    I too would very much like to see this feature. Please add a proxy vote on my behalf as well.

    Thanks so much for taking the time to submit a feature request. We currently have an open feature request for this, and I've added a proxy vote on your behalf. While I cannot promise anything, our development team will take a look at the report and decide if it's something that'll be added to a future version of 1Password.
