I'm sorry that you're seeing a delay between creating a new item using 1Password in the browser and seeing that item in the desktop app. It sounds like the item is making it to your 1Password account (since you see it in the web app) and the issue is occurring from the desktop app's side of things. Can you tell me which version of 1Password for Mac you're using?
You can force the 1Password for Mac desktop app to check for new items by manually locking and then unlocking the app. Does that allow you to see the item immediately?

Hi, have the same exact issue.
1Password browser extension version 8.10.70.27 in Firefox with Windows 10, 1Password for Windows 8.10.72.
Locking and unlocking also solves this, I'd too vote for a sync button.
I have also sent the diagnostics report, the support ID is XUB-34481-981.
Furthermore, when creating the item, the extension lagged, so I clicked the create button twice and two items were created, I guess the UX of this could be improved, but it is for a new conversation, right?

And yes, you are right, manually lock and unlock 1P will have the items synced after login very quickly. Can we at least have a sync button or shortcut to let's decide whether to sync from server?

Thank you for confirming that locking and unlocking 1Password allows you to see the new changes immediately.
The 1Password app doesn't have a sync button since it should just update automatically and instantly whenever you create a new item, or edit an existing item, on another device or browser. It sounds like something is going wrong with how the 1Password app communicates with your 1Password account. The next time that you run into the issue, so that we can investigate this further, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:
Send a diagnostics report (Mac)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com

sure, I understood your strategy, I will find a time to do a test and generate a diag file for you to support. I just thought, maybe a sync button or shortcut key, can make both of us easier ^_^.
BTW, adding items from browser always feel painful for me, click on update or create new, the 1P pop window will have no response and stay there, at least for 10 seconds, sometime I just wondering if the password get saved or not. I will find a time to make a screen recording.
