Has This Been Asked A Million Times?

Hi, new to forum and my apologies in the likely event this has been asked before.

In order to get the browser extension up and running on Vivaldi (Chrome based browser), I'm asked to type in my password. For those of us who also have the phone app, wondering if it wouldn't be more convenient and secure to unlock the browser extension via Face ID.

Are you waiting for Passkeys/FIDO to implement this capability, perhaps?

    Hey judmarc,

    I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    Currently you have the option to unlock 1Password in your browser on your Mac/PC using biometrics such as TouchID or Windows Hello. However, I do see where you are coming from in that it would be good to be able to authenticate using Face ID on your phone so I have passed this feedback on to our product team for consideration in future updates.
