3 years agoHow can I restore the option to use 1Password for all password requests?
I recently performed a clean install of Mac Sonoma on my Mac mini M1 (2020). I am re-installing my apps as needed. Of course 1P was among the first, but when I go into Mac Settings/Passwords, 1P is not there to select as the default.
1P extension is installed & enabled. It was working perfectly before the upgrade.
Thanks.
1Password Version: 8.10.16
Extension Version: 2.15.1
OS Version: macOS 14.0
Browser: Safari

Thank you! That seems to have done it, at least for website logins. I assume app logins are also fixed.
Your explanation was comprehensive, clear and easy to follow. - 1P_Dave

Hello @Dyn0saur! 👋
Thanks for the question. In order to be able to fill everywhere, first make sure that 1Password is installed in all of your browsers: Get 1Password for your browser
Then, follow this guide to turn on Universal Autofill so that you can fill in other Mac apps as well: Use Universal Autofill in apps and browsers on your Mac
Let me know if you run into any issues. 🙂
