How do I uninstall 1Password 7 for MacOS 12.3.1 after I install 1Password 8?

Can you try the following:

1. If you see 1Password 7 in your Applications folder then drag it to the Trash.
2. Empty the Trash.
3. Restart your Mac.

Let me know if you still see the entry. 🙂

Hi. I installed 1Password 8 over 7 and still have an entry under Login Items for 1Password 7.

How can I get rid of it?

Thank you for clarifying, I've filed a feature request on your behalf with the product team so that they can see if this is something that we can add to the 1Password 8 installation process in the future.

Currently, the 1Password 8 installer will place 1Password 7 into a ZIP folder in your Applications folder. 1Password 7 will be, at this point, defacto uninstalled. After that, there's no need to do anything else. The ZIP folder can be left where it is and it won't cause any issues.

1Password 8 successful. I'll trash the zipped 7 app. Thanks for letting me know now to use CleanMyMac for that.
I tried to install the browser extension for Brave 1.38.119 for MacOS and for Firefox 100.0.2 for MacOS and not having success yet. Are these 1Password extensions for Brave and Firefox only for Windows?
