How do I verify that the zip file I downloaded?

How do I verify that the zip file I downloaded from the official 1password 8 website (MacOS, Intel) Is there a checksum hash? Or another validation scheme？ 1Password Version: 8 Extension...

This issue has been resolved, here is the solution:

spctl --assess -vv ~/Downloads/1Password\ Installer.app

This assumes that the Installer has been unzipped and is in your Downloads folder.

You'll see output like this:

/Users/grey/Downloads/1Password Installer.app: accepted
source=Notarized Developer ID
origin=Developer ID Application: AgileBits Inc. (2BUA8C4S2C)
