hi. thank you for the posts.. the 1password support team contacted me and got me thru. basically, opened the 1password app itself on my mac. then on left, categories, then passwords, i scrolled to the bottom and found the pw that I had created. It's all good now.

Click the new item icon and choose Password Generator.
Click Generator History.

After posting this, I found info in KB regarding generator history, but I'm not able to find that. I used the instructions below. Is it saying to open the 1Password app itself on my Mac or to use my web browser extension? Either way, i'm not seeing anything regarding "Generator History".

Step 1: Find the password
Whenever you use the password generator to fill a password on a website, 1Password will automatically save it.

Open and unlock 1Password in your browser.
Click the new item icon and choose Password Generator.
Click Generator History.
Click to copy the password that corresponds to the website where you used the password generator.
