Using Brave browser on a Mac. When I click on change browser it takes me straight back to the website login page. I am not given an option to change the password.

Can you confirm it's your 1Password account password you're trying to change? If so, this can only be done in your browser on 1Password.com. Once you've logged in, you can click on your account in the top right > My Profile > Change password. Remember to update your Emergency Kit if you make any changes to your login credentials!
If you're trying to change the password for a login item, this can be done in any of the apps as well as 1Password.com. If you'd like, you can attach a screenshot of what you're seeing:
